It is not a new occurrence but we would like to remind all companies… We have had a lot of calls about clients receiving “official looking” yet deceptive notices about their company. Most specifically from a company calling themselves the “Corporate Compliance Center”. Please be advised that these notices are not official and do not have the approval of the respective Department of State. In most cases you will see in the fine print that “This is not a government document”. If you receive a notice of this type please make sure to read it carefully to make sure it is legitimate.
